Top 5 Most Common Car Problems
You have to do more than just fill up your car with petrol and occasionally clean the windows. The American Automobile Association conducted nationwide clinics at 25 different AAA clubs that included inspecting 6082 vehicles to find out the five most common car problemsall of which are easy to fix with just a little time and not too much money.
1. Tyre pressure
Drivers should check tyre pressure at least once a month to ensure tyres are not under or overinflated. Low pressure in the tyres can increase wear and fuel consumption while having too much pressure may reduce traction. Keeping tyres properly aligned will also help assure longer tyre life and improve fuel economy. One should always take care of his car and get the regular car repairs done.
2. A clogged air filter
Maintain and replace air filters as often as is recommended in your owner’s manual to ensure better air flow through the engine. This in turn will improve engine efficiency and result in more power and better fuel usage.
3. Insufficient tire tread depth
For sufficient traction tires should have a minimum of 5mm tread depth. Use a depth gauge to check. Most tires also have builtin tread wear indicators that let you know when tire replacement is necessary.
4. Engine oil that is low or needs to be changed
Dirty oil will increase engine wear while low oil levels can lead to overheating. If the oil level drops too low lubrication will be lost and severe engine damage can result. Regular oil changes will add longevity to the engine.
5. Wornout windshield wiper blades
Rigid cracked or torn wiper blades can greatly reduce visibility when driving in rain and snow which could increase your chance of having a crash. Examine and replace your windshield wiper blades once a year or sooner if streaking begins.
Your vehicle should be well taken care of. Whenever there is a need of the auto repairs one should contact the best auto repair mechanic in the town.

Title: Make Your Life Easier With Garage Door Floor Seals
Good luck back luck waiting in a line
Living in an urban part of the state where nature and wildlife exists in abundance you never know what might turn up. And when the second most toxic land snake known to man i.e. The Eastern Brown snake decides to pay a visit you never know quite how you should react.
It was about 1:30 pm one sunny afternoon at home. We were having a few drinks with family members when the doorbell rang and a stranger and his girlfriend with anxious looks on their faces explained to us that theyd called the police and if we left it alone it wouldnt bother us. It being a 2 metre long Eastern Brown Snake that had entered the garden through a gap under the side gate and was making its way to the patio doors.
To be honest we werent overly panicked we were more concerned about the dog or the cat having a go at itwe have no small kids and fortunately contrary to our fears the pets were nowhere to be seen. Armed with beer cans to the ready we ventured outside to see and sure enough. Just around the house by the side gate there she was a beautiful Eastern Brown. As soon as she saw us she reared up in its infamous S shapeand grissed ready to strike; its distinctive orange specks on the cream underbelly flashing up at us. The three of us moved no further and to our relief the snake likewise was not going to advance either. To me she seemed like a strange sad and cumbersome lady lost in a maze of residential Sundayland whose usual inhabitants consist of Sunday carwashers lawnmowers kids on bikes and the occasional Mr Softy icecream man. Realizing we were no threat to her nor she us she lowered her guard and prepared to retreat. She slithered out across the front garden and seemed to hover in the middle of the road for quite a while before sliding lazily into the grassland area. Apart from the other animals that venture into the gardens or garages around here a deadly snake is a rare treat indeed and apparently a sign of very good luck. If Steve Irwin had been around hed have grabbed this beauty by the neck and admired her closeup. This made me realize how similar we humans are to the animals around us. If we leave alone well be left alone. Of course if Steve had left alone hed still be alive and not famous nor well known
When strangers wander in
Unfortunately or fortunately curiosity killed the cat theres no luck or un luck in it. But you know this only applies to humans. Animals arent curious creatures. Tips For Selling A Used Car Online
Some people make the mistake of thinking that selling a used car online means you don’t have to bother with a lot of real world headaches. Although there’s some truth to this the web has made it easier faster and cheaper to sell a car there are a few key steps to take to ensure you get the best possible price.
Be brutally honest with yourself
Whether you want to sell a car online or offline the first step is to appraise its condition. It’s common for owners to look a little on the bright side when it comes to the state of a vehicle.
The best thing to do therefore is to write a list of any dents scratches marks tears in upholstery stains and missing elements. Add to the list any known mechanical issues. For example are then any unexplained noises? Does the clutch stick? How are the breaks? Are all lights working properly? Are there any leaks? And so on…
This will help you get a realistic idea of your car’s condition and how much you can expect to sell it for.
Can you see your face in it?
Okay so perhaps you don’t need to take that literally. However it’s important to make your car look its best and this isn’t just for show. It’s proven that a clean vacuumed and polished car will sell faster and for more money than a grubby equivalent. This applies to any make and model.
Wash and polish the exterior including hubcaps and use upholstery shampoo on the interior. You may be able to detail any small scratches or marks yourself. Anything more significant and you should consider getting professional work done.
I’m afraid that the cleaning process should also mean getting rid of any stickers trinkets or funny air fresheners. Good taste is always a matter of opinion.
Is your paperwork uptodate?
Understandably used car buyers are a little sceptical. They want to ensure that the vehicle they buy is reliable and worth the money. Service records MOT insurance V5 registration and any other paperwork relating to your car is essential. Any manuals and instructions are also very useful.
The more information you can provide the better your chances of getting a good price.
How much?
Once you’ve appraised your car’s condition and cleaned it thoroughly it’s time to get an idea of your car’s value. You can use an annual value report such as Glass’s Guide or do the research yourself on selling websites to see what sort of prices to expect.
Remember that prices fluctuate particularly in today’s volatile economy. You should also bear in mind that specialist sell car online companies may offer you immediate quotes pick up your car and help you avoid all the hassle of selling for a small premium.
Which method?
Type sell used car online into Google and you’ll see that you have plenty of options. However all have their pros and cons. eBay for example may lead to a much lower sale price. Ad sites can often take a long time for results and you still have to deal with viewings and enquiries.
