Bmw Sauber Previewed
Since 1994 this season for the first time features a single Formula One race held in Germany and it is entitled the “European Grand Prix” to blow. Nick Heidfeld and the entire BMW team are excited for their home race on the Nurburgring. Robert Kubica is also certain of a good result for the BMW Sauber F1 Team in the Eifel on July 22.
While full on the race is on the schedule in the actual pit lane fanatics in the BMW Sauber F1 Team Pit Lane Park will have the chance to raise questions to Formula One experts and even try their hand at changing tires as well as refueling. Furthermore they can clock up some race laps in the Formula One simulator get the lowdown on F1 and see and hold various exhibits that include a Formula One engine.
Demonstration drives in the Formula One race car will take place several times a day. This time Jorg Muller the current FIA World Touring Car Championship leader is behind the wheel as well as demo rides in Formula BMW cars. It will be party time in the Pit Lane Park on Saturday night from 7.45 p.m. Media with F1 accreditation are welcome to the BMW M Power Night which is the highlight of the BMW M cars meeting.
Formula BMW Germany will be staging rounds seven and eight as the season’s highlight and as part of the support programme for the European Grand Prix. Formula BMW Europe will be launched beginning next season. With five wins in six races last year’s rookie champion Jens Klingmann Leimen currently dominates the championship. Marco Wittmann Markt Erlbach is leading the rookie rankings.

The BMW M3 was initially fitted with a firmer and more aerodynamic body shell in addition to “box flared” fenders which only the M6 had. This was basically to accommodate a wider track with bigger wheels and tires which was typical of a muscle car.
People tend not to give much thought about the BMW M3 catalytic converter nevertheless when it comes to the environment it’s one of the vehicle’s most significant components. After 6 years this version of the BMW M3 was ushered in. This E36 coupe model got the 3.0 liters straight6 engine which created 286 hp. Four years later this was increased to a higher power train of 321 hp which was derived from a new 3.2 liters. As an alternative a new SMG gearbox was integrated. Named as one of the best models manufactured this car is still available.

Bmw Designs A Dream Of An Airplane
Of course everybody knows that BMW designs the best cars from the svelte look of the BMW 1 Series down to the top of the line BMW 2500 parts.
But could BMW design a Boeing 787 jets interiors?
The answer is yes.
Last fall Boeing Business Jets BBJ approached BMW Group DesignworksUSA a unit of the German car giant and asked it to reportedly create “a conceptual 787 aircraft interior for a fictitious affluent Russian client in his midthirties.”
Of course DesignworksUSA rose to the challenge coming up with an interior design that immediately reminds one of James Bond.
“We studied the young Russian billionaire clientele that would be the potential buying group of this aircraft” explained the firm’s marketing manager Jackie Jones in an email. “By immersing ourselves in information regarding their lives we were able to develop scenarios describing ‘a day in the life of’… “
DesignworksUSA captured its design for the fictitious Russian billionaire’s Dreamliner in computer graphics along with matching glowing marketing description that included:
“An aircraft that can function as a second home with luxurious amenities.
Guests on the jet may enjoy a cocktail at the bar while admiring the stowed vehicles seen below through the transparent floor. Yes that’s a BMW down there.
The parking space in the cargo deck allows a seamless airtoground experience and “the complete freedom to go from anywhere to anywhere.”
DesignworksUSA creative director Magnus Aspegren put it more directly writing in an email “The vehicleviewing area in the forward lounge would guarantee bragging rights for the owner among friends and business associates during flight.”
The custom 787 also features a “technologically advanced officea gourmet kitchen; an exercise room; a spa and sauna; and a cinema lounge with waterfall floors and a screen that spans two floor levels.
Whats more to increase the sense of space many of the planes interior walls are semitranslucent.
In illustrations provided by DesignworksUSA even that masterbedroom suite has one translucent wall. But the suite is tucked away upstairs to the rear of the aircraft and is no doubt offlimits without an invitation.
For now however this dream of an airplane is just that purely conceptual.
“In case a client approaches BBJ or BMW Group DesignworksUSA and expresses interest in the interior we would use this as a baseline” Jones wrote.
Boeing spokeswoman Sandy Angers said the typical configuration of a 787 VIP jet will allow seating for up to 75 people. With that passenger load the range of the 7879 VIP airplane will be 11450 miles enabling nonstop flight to virtually anywhere in the world.
And the best thing? When The Billionaire gets to his desired destination he won’t need a hired limo. The plane lands the crew unloads Billionaires BMW from his parking space inside the planeand in no time off Billionaire goes to spend more of his money.
